Learning that ends in a signed Skill Record

Vaurse Learn teaches you on the real website, with an AI tutor beside you, and ends with a Skill Record that says what was checked.

A young Ghanaian woman at a laptop in a small office in Accra, a colleague leaning in to look at the screen, notebook and tea on the desk, daylight from a window, focused and relaxed.

Most training happens away from the work. You watch a video, you read a handout, and then you sit down at the real website and find that nothing looks quite the same. Vaurse Learn is built the other way round. It teaches you on the actual website you'll use at work, in your own browser, with an AI tutor beside you.

Vaurse Learn is something we're building now, starting in Ghana. Here is how it works.

How a course goes

Vaurse Learn is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge on a computer. You install it from vaur.se/learn, pair it with the Vaurse app on your phone, and your courses are ready. The tutor is Vaurix, the AI inside Vaurse. Every course follows the same four steps: shown, tried, checked, signed.

  1. Lessons on the real site. Short steps. The tutor points at the exact button on the page and tells you what it does.
  2. Ask anything. By voice or by text, about the course. The microphone is on only while you hold the button.
  3. An assignment, marked. You do the task on your own. The tutor marks it line by line and tells you what to fix.
  4. A Skill Record. Pass, and the course goes on your record.

What it can teach

Anything in a browser tab. That means Google Sheets and Docs, Canva, video editors, AI tools, WhatsApp Web, Meta Business Suite, CRMs, online accounting, and your company's own web systems.

It can't teach desktop programs, such as Excel or Photoshop installed on the computer, or skills away from a screen.

What a Skill Record says

A Skill Record says what you were taught and what was checked, never more. It's yours, and you choose who sees it.

Say, for example, a delivery company asks a staff member to learn how to make short video commercials with AI tools. Their Skill Record would show who assigned the course, that Vaurix taught it live on their own screen, what the assignment was, what was checked (the length, the product name, the price on screen, the voice-over, the exported file) and how many attempts it took to pass.

That is far more useful than a certificate that only says "completed". An employer can see what was actually checked.

For teams

Employers can turn their own know-how into a course. Describe the skill, add your own material if you have it, and Vaurix drafts the course. You check the lessons and the marking checklist before anyone starts.

  • Assign by branch or role from the Learning pages in your Vaurse portal. You pay per person per course, and add time if someone needs it.
  • See what matters: time used, how far each person got, the result and the marked assignment. You can add your own "Reviewed by" line.
  • Never what they asked. You never see screenshots, the questions someone asked, or anything in their other tabs.

A course from your employer never costs you anything. The first 10 minutes of any course are free. See every price on our prices page.

It looks only when it needs to

The tutor looks at the lesson's tab only while a lesson is running, never at other tabs. Screenshots are used for the answer and not kept. "Close this lesson" stops everything at once.

Like everything Vaurix does, it never scores you or ranks you. It only uses what's been signed about you and what you've chosen to share.

Learning for yourself comes later. When it does, nobody is told what you learn unless you share it. Find out more on the Vaurse Learn page, or follow our progress on the roadmap.
