For schools · Vaurse Campus

Issued at enrolment.
Verified for life.

Vaurse Campus is student identity, attendance, access and verified records in one. Every student and staff member gets a Voscard, registers nobody can sign for a friend, and results that answer for themselves long after graduation. And you finally see where your graduates went.

Students walk across a green campus with Voscards on blue lanyards.

The problem with plastic

A plastic card proves nothing.

  • Anyone can copy it.

A printer and a lanyard is all it takes.

  • Sign-in sheets get signed by friends.

And then typed into a system as if they were true.

  • The gate can't tell who belongs.

A guard sees a card, not whether it's still valid.

  • Degree checks take weeks.

Letters, stamps and phone calls, for every employer who asks.

  • One student, six cards.

ID, library, gate, exam, hostel and event passes, each from a different supplier.

  • Graduates disappear.

The day they leave, you lose sight of where they went.

One card, everything on campus

One card for the whole campus.

Student and staff ID.

Checked in a second, by a tap or a scan. A suspended or withdrawn student's card stops at once.

Gates, halls, hostels and the library.

Doors open by rule, not by a list someone forgot to update.

Attendance.

Students tap in, in the room. Registers fill themselves.

Exam halls.

Check that the right student is sitting the right paper.

Events.

Matriculation, congregation, careers fairs and faculty weeks, with real turnout.

Records and results.

The academic year

From the first day to long after the last.

  1. Day one

    Enrolment.

Import your student list. Digital cards work the same day; printed cards follow in batches.

  2. All year

    During the year.

Registers, doors, exams and events, all from the same card. Suspensions, deferrals and withdrawals take effect everywhere at once.

  3. Congregation and after

    Graduation.

Sign degrees and transcripts in bulk at congregation. The card and the record become the graduate's, free for life.

Attendance and access

Your current register records who signed. This records who was there.

Attendance

  • The lecturer opens the register in the Vaurse app, in the room. Students tap their Voscard.
  • The register closes itself after the set time, and nobody can reopen it.
  • A tap from outside the room goes to exceptions, not to "absent". Each exception is decided by a named person, with a reason.
  • See every course against your attendance threshold, and tell students where they stand while there's still time.
  • Close the semester and the eligibility list goes to the registry.
  • Lecturers see only their own sections.

In the room

The register opens in the room, on the lecturer's phone.

The lecturer opens the register in the Vaurse app at the start of the class. Students tap their Voscard as they come in, and the register fills itself.

  1. Opened in the room. Nothing to print, pass round or type up afterwards.
  2. It closes itself. After the set time nobody can reopen it, not even the lecturer.
  3. Doubts go to a person. A tap from outside the room goes to exceptions, and a named person decides each one, with a reason.

Nobody can sign a register for a friend. A tap needs the student and their card in the room.

At the exam hall

The right student, for the right paper.

At the door, exam staff tap each student's card on their phone. In a second they see whether this student is registered for this paper, in this hall.

  1. A tap at the door. The card and the phone are all it takes, with no lists to tick.
  2. A refusal says why. Not registered for this paper, wrong hall, or card suspended.
  3. Every check is logged. The registry sees who sat which paper, and who checked them in.

A refusal always says why, so the exam officer can tell the student in one sentence.

Access

  • Doors open by rule ("final-year engineering, weekdays, 7am to 9pm"), so access follows the student, not a list.
  • Suspend a student and their card stops at the gate, the library and events at once.
  • Visitors and contractors get passes that end when their visit does.
  • Every refusal says why: "Suspended", "Not in this group", "Outside opening hours".

Why students use it

Students use it because it helps them.

They see their own attendance

For every course, against the threshold, with the sessions they missed and why.

Their record does the paperwork

They ask for a transcript or letter in the app, and you answer in the portal.

One card in their pocket

ID, library, gate and passes, on their phone or a printed card.

Student deals

What you award, signed by you.

  • Only the signing officers your institution names can sign a degree, publish results or answer a check.
  • Sign one at a time, or a whole cohort at congregation.
  • Nobody can edit what you signed. A correction shows as a correction, with a reason, never as a silent change.
  • Transcripts, results, certificates and short courses all live on the student's record.

2Check

Degree checks that answer themselves.

  • When an employer or another school asks, the graduate approves first, then your officer confirms in one click.
  • You see exactly what will be shared before you confirm. Attendance is never shared with anyone, ever.
  • A graduate's own request about their own record is always free. Paid checks from employers earn your institution a share of the fee.
  • Requests about graduates from before Vaurse are checked against your archive.

Graduation

Graduation is where most schools lose sight of their students.

With Vaurse, the degree you sign stays on her record for life, and answers employers' checks for you. Graduates who agree tell you where they went.

  1. Signed at congregation. Sign one degree at a time, or a whole cohort at once.
  2. Hers for life. Her card and her record stay with her, free, long after she leaves.
  3. Outcomes, with her say-so. You see where graduates went only when they agree to share it.

Graduates choose whether you see where they went. Nobody is followed without saying yes.

  • An outcomes dashboard

How many graduates are working, studying or still looking, which sectors and employers they went to, and how complete the data is.

  • Compare cohorts fairly

Each cohort shows how complete its data is, so a thin year never looks like a bad one.

  • An alumni directory

By programme, year, sector, employer and city, showing only graduates who agreed.

  • Who hires your graduates, and who checks them but never hires

Only possible because the checks come to you.

  • Consent is theirs

Nobody in the portal can turn a graduate's visibility back on, not even the owner.

  • Reach them

Message a group of alumni who agreed to hear from you: careers fairs, mentoring, homecoming.

Works with what you already have

It works with your systems, not against them.

  • Not a student information system. Pull your enrolment list in, and send verified attendance back.
  • Sign in with your institution's Microsoft or Google account. Two-step sign-in for every administrator.
  • Roles for everyone: registry, faculty, lecturers, ICT, security and the careers office each see only what they need. A lecturer's portal has two items.
  • Every action is logged, with who did it and when.
  • Turn on only what you need. Already happy with your attendance system? Keep it, and use identity, records and outcomes.
Pricing

Priced per enrolled student, per academic year, with each student's card included. Graduates keep their record free for life.

Get started
Getting started

Four steps to your first register.

  1. Talk to us. We check your institution and the officers who will sign for it.
  2. Bring in your people. Import students and staff from a file or your student system.
  3. Issue cards. Digital the same day, printed cards in batches.
  4. Go live. Connect your doors and open the first registers.
Questions

What schools ask us.

We already have a system that does attendance. +

Your system records attendance; it doesn't witness it. A sign-in sheet can be signed by a friend. A Voscard tap needs the student in the room. And Vaurse feeds your system rather than replacing it: we send verified attendance back.

Do students need a smartphone? +

No. A student can use a printed Voscard, and registers are opened on the lecturer's phone.

What happens when a student graduates? +

Their card and record become theirs, free for life. You can still answer checks about what you awarded, and see outcomes for graduates who agree.

Who can see student data? +

Only the roles you set up, each seeing only what they need. Attendance is never shared outside your institution. Graduates decide who sees their record.

Can we start small? +

Yes. Turn on only the parts you need. Sections you don't use don't appear at all.
