How Voscentral works

Deals, memberships and events from businesses we've checked, all over Ghana, and they land straight on your Voscard.

Friends sharing plates of jollof at an open-air chop bar in Osu, Accra, late afternoon, one of them glancing at a phone, a server bringing drinks.

Voscentral is Vaurse's public site for deals, memberships and events across Ghana. You'll find it at voscentral.com. Anyone can browse it. Your Voscard is how you get what's on it.

The idea is simple. A good offer is only worth something if you can trust the business behind it, and if using it doesn't mean handing over your details to every shop you visit. Voscentral is built around both.

Every business has been checked

Every business on Voscentral has been checked by us before it can post anything. That check covers who they are. It isn't a promise about the quality of what they sell, so you'll still want to read the offer and decide for yourself.

Each business has its own page, with photos, opening hours and branches, and a tick that says we checked them. The offers themselves come from the business, not from Vaurse. The business is responsible for what it offers and for honouring it. If a business won't honour a deal it posted, tell us and we'll take it up with them.

What you'll find there

  • Deals. Members-only prices at shops and restaurants. Say, a lunch deal at a chop bar near your office.
  • Stamp cards and cashback. Your stamps live on your card, not in a drawer.
  • Memberships. Gyms, clubs and associations.
  • Events and passes. Your pass goes on your card and works at the door, even with no signal.
  • Online offers. For shops that sell on their website, Instagram or WhatsApp, with a personal code.
  • Business pages. Photos, hours and branches, so you know where you're going.

From browsing to the till, in four steps

  1. Browse deals, memberships and events.
  2. Enter your Voscard number and confirm on your phone. No Voscard yet? We text you a free one.
  3. It lands on your card.
  4. Show your card at the till, or use your personal code for online shops.

At the till, the shop sees a first name and a yes. Nothing else on your card shows. You pay the shop, as usual. Vaurse never takes your money or holds it.

That means no paper loyalty cards to lose, no printed tickets, and no typing your number into a stranger's phone. If you don't have a smartphone, a printed Voscard works on its own at the till. And you'll only get messages from a business if you asked to hear from it.

Shopping online? Use your personal code at checkout instead. Each code is for you alone, one per person, so please don't sell it or pass it on.

When you buy an event pass, the money goes straight to the organiser's own mobile money number. Membership money goes to the business. If you need a refund on either, it comes from them, under their own rules.

For businesses: your listing is free

A listing on Voscentral is free for every checked business. You post deals, memberships, events and online offers from your Vaurse portal. Any phone can be your till. You see who came and who came back, and what each offer cost you. You never see a customer's record, and you never get a list of who qualifies.

If you'd like more, there are paid options, such as featured placement and the deeper tools in our Engagement plans. They're all on our prices page. The listing itself stays free.

To get started, set up your business and we check it against your registration. Our page for businesses has the details.

Voscentral is being built now in Ghana. You can follow where it stands on our roadmap. Printed Voscards are already sold in the shop at voscentral.com/shop.
