Signing degrees at congregation
With Vaurse Campus, one signature on congregation day puts a degree on the graduate's record for life, and answers employers' checks for you.

Congregation is a proud day. Gowns, photographs, families who travelled from home. It is also the day most schools lose sight of their students. The certificate goes into a folder, and for years afterwards the registry answers the same question by letter: did this person really earn this degree?
Vaurse Campus is built so that one signature does that work for you, for good. The campus portal is on our roadmap as "Building", and results and degrees signed by the school are part of it. Here is how signing is designed to work.
Who can sign
Only the signing officers your institution names can sign a degree, publish results or answer a check. Before your portal opens, we check your institution and the officers who will sign for it. There is no account, and nothing issued in your name, until then.
Your staff sign in to the portal with your institution's Microsoft or Google account, with two-step sign-in for every administrator. Every action is logged, with who did it and when. Registry, faculty, lecturers, ICT, security and the careers office each see only what they need.
One at a time, or a whole cohort
You can sign one degree at a time. Or you can sign a whole cohort at once, in bulk, at congregation. Degrees, transcripts, results, certificates and short courses all live on the student's record.
Once a degree is signed, nobody can edit it. Not the graduate, and not us. If something is wrong, your school signs a correction with a reason. It shows as a correction, never as a silent change, and both stay visible. That is what makes the signature worth trusting.
The graduate keeps it, free for life
When a student graduates, their card and their record become theirs, free for life. The degree stays on their record after they leave, after they change phones, and after your school changes its systems.
The graduate decides who sees it. They share it in a tap, and an employer sees that it's real and who signed it, in seconds. No certified copies, no letters, and no waiting on the registrar again.
Checks that answer themselves
When an employer or another school asks about a graduate, the graduate approves first. Then your officer confirms in one click. You see exactly what will be shared before you confirm.
- Attendance is never shared with anyone outside your institution.
- A graduate's own request about their own record is always free.
- Paid checks from employers earn your institution a share of the fee. The details are on our prices page.
- Graduates from before Vaurse are not left out. Requests about them are checked against your archive.
Your verification queue shows who is asking, what for, and where each request stands: waiting for the graduate, approved by the graduate, or confirmed.
Outcomes, only with their say-so
Most schools would like to know where their graduates went. With Vaurse you can, but only for graduates who agree to share it. Nobody is followed without saying yes, and nobody in the portal can turn a graduate's visibility back on, not even the owner.
For graduates who agree, an outcomes dashboard shows how many are working, studying or still looking, and which sectors and employers they went to. Each cohort shows how complete its data is, so a thin year never looks like a bad one. An alumni directory lists only graduates who agreed, and you can message groups of alumni who agreed to hear from you, about careers fairs, mentoring or homecoming.
Graduate outcomes and the alumni directory come with the Campus Plus plan. If you'd like to see it with your own programmes, bring Vaurse Campus to your institution, and a person from Vaurse will call you.
