100 things you can build with the Vaurse API

Job boards, estate gates, loyalty cards, clinic rosters and more. One hundred ideas, each with a short brief and the parts of the API it uses.

An ordinary open-plan office in Accra, Ghana, late afternoon: a mixed team of Ghanaian staff at desks with laptops, two people talking over a printout, cables, mugs and a standing fan, city buildings through the windows.

The Vaurse API lets software ask one question everywhere: is this true, and who says so? Here are 100 businesses and tools you could build with it, grouped by where people need to prove something. Each one lists the parts of the API it uses.

The six parts: Sign in with Vaurse · Verify · Record requests · Cards and access · Issuing · Offers and loyalty. Start free in the sandbox; live use needs an approved partner.

What you can't build

Some things stay off the table, whoever asks. No tool can search for a person. No product can score people, rank them or sell what it learns. A shop learns only a first name and whether someone qualifies. Every fact shared about a person is approved by them, for a purpose and a set time, and they can take it back.

Start building

Every idea here starts in the sandbox, with fictional people and cards. When you're ready for real users, apply to go live. Tell us what you're building; we read every one.

Next step

Build on proof, not claims.
